Catch-All Redo

I picked up this unattractive catch all thing at a yard sale for 25 cents. Not a bad deal .. if you like to celebrate Christmas year-round, or if you only need a catch all during the holidays.

I cleaned it up and used mod podge to add some pretty yellow scrapbook paper since our room has yellow accents. =) Not too bad for a whole 15 minutes worth of crafting time.

Since having my little girl 5 months ago, my hair has started the inevitable falling out phase for post pregnancy. I generally wear my hair up..a LOT. I noticed that not only is my hair falling out like crazy, but it's completely damaged. This is most likely from throwing it up into a messy pony tail or bun generally every day as well as when it's wet from the shower. This has led to some major breakage. So, to try to repair some of the damage done, my sister in law and I are both choosing to not wear our hair in a pony tail until the 1st of July =) I've already semi-compromised twice since starting on Monday.. I wore a low braid to the gym Tuesday morning and a low but straight and clean pony for my softball game that was Wednesday. Both time I only put the hair tie in right before the activity I was going to do and took it down as soon as I was finished. Let's see how this goes...

Should be especially fun since the little one is a hair puller.. =)
