Anyone else suffer from annoying back and neck pain? If you've been looking for something to help ease the pain away, try making one of these reusable rice heating pack. That is, after you check out my 10 tips for relieving back & neck pain. ;)
These are so great because you just pop them in the microwave for a bit before using, and PRESTO! you've got yourself a heating pad. Even better, this ones ends up measuring 17" x 10" so it's the perfect size to treat all those aching pains at once.
All you need:
Sewing Machine
Rice or Flax seed
2 fabrics (at least one needs to be heavier weight) 17" x 11"
Now you're all set to blog away at your desk all night with one of these babies comforting you the whole way. =)

I don't own a sewing machine and I don't have back pain (hubby chiro!!), BUT I love this tutorial! We use these kind of bags with corn in them. I keep them in the freezer for when the kids get hurt. They put them on their boo boo and the pain magically disappears. ;) I need someone to make me some of these with corn in them.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great tutorial! I pinned it so that when I have a chance to be creative I can try this out {my sewing machine is currently not working}.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for my needs right now. If only I had the motivation to get behind my sewing machine. :-/
