Make 'Em Blush #PamperedPreggie

Pregnancy is a wonderful, crazy, sometimes throwing curve balls at you king of thing. There are so many changes occurring and when you're small to begin with like me, chances are, your current wardrobe won't cut it for the entirety of your pregnancy. When I was pregnant with our first kiddo, Natalia I gained a total of 50 pounds and I'm here to tell you that it was almost ALL belly. That's a lot of belly! I was still able to wear a few of my tops throughout but I mostly ended up in thrift store finds because it seemed like one day things fit and the next I had nothing to wear without the bottom portion of my belly showing. Not quite the beautiful pregnant look I go for. (Or non-pregnant look for that matter!)

With this second pregnancy, I was already finding myself not fitting into my everyday wardrobe by about 16 weeks along thanks to my boobs practically exploding from 32B to a 32DD. When your combine that with the growing belly, there was just no way that my X-Small tops were going to do it for me. Thankfully, I was able to get this lovely striped sweater from PinkBlush Maternity and I finally felt like I had something I could wear out of the house and feel confident in.

Excuse the fact that I'm not wearing any makeup in this photo and probably bring the level of cuteness of the sweater down a bit. I just wasn't feeling up to really doing much to make myself look more presentable since I had fallen down the stairs earlier in the day while carrying Natalia. It was scary, but thankfully we slid down so she didn't get hurt at all and the wasn't any harm to the baby--just my poor tailbone.

Instead, check out the length of the sweater. It's almost as long as my Undercover Mama and still has a little more room to give before it actually has to stretch to cover my baby bump sufficiently. I love the 2/4 length of the sleeves and they're actually perfect because I find myself not having to worry about rolling up my sleeves and it seems like with a toddler we're always getting into something messy. Another great thing about this light sweater is that although it has a comfortable scoop neck, it's not so low cut that you have to have a tank top or something underneath for modesty.
